July 2010 Update

Last Minute Update: Comic-Con International is in a few days. I'll be set up in the Artists Alley at table BB18. Please stop by and say "HI!" I'll have lots of original art for sale, as well as copies of my Simone & Ajax and Katy Keene books, my limited-edition sketchbook, Simone & Ajax t-shirts, and more. I'll also be doing my annual Professional Networking seminar on Thursday at 3:30 in room 30CDE, as well as appearing on Saturday at 6:45 on the Fables panel and on Sunday at 2:00 on the Archie Comics panel. I'll also be signing at the Archie Comics booth on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (please see the sign in the booth for times) and likely at the DC Comics booth at some point. I'll also be at the Eisner Awards on Friday the 23rd where Fables is nominated for "Best Series".

And, speaking of awards, The Adventures of Simone & Ajax: A Christmas Caper, has just been nominated in the 2010 Harvey Awards for the "Special Award for Humor in Comics". I'm especially excited about this nomination as it's the first time Simone & Ajax have been nominated for an award. The story is available in print in the IDW book collection, The Adventures of Simone & Ajax and free to read online at ComicMix. The awards are given out at the Baltimore Comic-Con, August 28 and 29, which I'll be attending. If you're a comics professional, please visit the Harveys online and vote.
